Be sure to come to the Installation Dinner on Friday, June 29 at 6:00 P.M. to support our incoming Club President Bill Wright and also thank Joe Alemany for doing a super job this year as our Club President. Let's also not forget our Club Secretary Brad Vullo. Being a Club Secretary is a difficult job.
Joe asked me to remind you to bring a friend to the next breakfast meeting.

Judge Dawn Fields
Guest Speaker Judge Dawn “Pam” Fields sharing her journey from being banned from a store because she looked suspicious in the 80’s while grocery shopping to attending law school and becoming a lawyer. Today she has served 12 years as Judge and is running for re-election. Such a great motivational speaker!

Look Who Is  On The Cover of MYCOAST Magazine!
What a surprise for our very own Pat Northey when she was interviewed for information about the trails in Volusia County. They put her picture on the cover! The picture was taken along one of New Smyrna Beach's trails. Pat was honored to be on the cover and have much of her Volusia County Council work acknowledged.

21st. Annual Boys & Girls Club Dinner
There are approximately 250 members of the club in our area.  Our Immediate Club Past President Pat Northey and soon-to-be our Club President, Bill Wright (on July 1st.) attended the dinner.

Do you know what RYLA is?

Our Club is paying for four students and Florida Hospital is funding two more students. - Thank You Florida Hospital-Fish Memorial.
This is a great opportunity for a student to be selected to attend RYLA from June 24 - July at Stetson University. The students attend University High School, Deltona High School, Trinity Christian Academy, and Pine Ridge High School. Florida Hospital funded two more students who attend the Health Academy at Pine Ridge High School.

The Songs We Sometimes Sing At our Meetings Depending On Our Mood And The Weather

A Song For Our Guests and Visiting Rotarians (Words by John Carpenter)

Whenever you travel the highways,

From New York to Miami Shores,

A Rotary welcome awaits you,

From DeBary-Deltona-Orange City and more.

So come back to see us,

You're always welcome each time you do.

So come back to see us,

We're always glad to greet you,

DeBary-Deltona-Orange City and you!

"My Country, 'Tis of Thee" (America)

My country, 'tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims' pride,

From every mountainside

Let freedom ring!

"God Bless America"  (by Irving Berlin)

God bless America,

Land that I love

Stand beside her, and guide her

Through the night with a light from above

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans, white with foam

God bless America, My home sweet home

God bless America, My home sweet home.

"The Star-Spangled Banner" (by Francis Scott Key)

O say can you see by the dawn's early light,

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming.

And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,

O say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
