Winner of the Yeti Cooler!
USA
Happy Rotary Morning To You!
We Remember our Rotary friend Dorrie (Doris)
We recently lost Honorary Member Dorrie Larson. Her husband Lloyd was also a wonderful person.
Dorrie would come  with her daughter Debbie, a Rotarian to our annual Banquet and support our Club.

Immediate Past Club President Joe Alemany dedicated his 2018 $1,000 contribution to the Gateway Center for the Arts.
Our Congressman presented winners and participants of the art contest.

Our April 28 Race was a success!  Proceeds went to community projects.

The Rotary Club of DeBary-Deltona-Orange City 5K/10K River Run Race/Walk was on Sunday, April 28.
It was a record turn-out with over 300 runners at the 4th Annual River Run 5k/10k. Thank you to all the runners, sponsors, volunteers, and our Chair Pat Northey.  - All in support of Rotary youth programs such as Rotary Youth Exchange.  Our inbound student from Turkey Dide Turut volunteered in the race too!

Plant a tree in DeBary.
Feeling fantastic thanks to all the volunteers, our sponsor Duke Energy and citizens that took the initiative to plant a tree in DeBary. It was so appreciated that a citizen stated they were going to name their tree after Paul Benfield 😂#ArborDayCelebration

The Songs We Sometimes Sing At our Meetings Depending On Our Mood And The Weather

A Song For Our Guests and Visiting Rotarians (Words by John Carpenter)

Whenever you travel the highways,

From New York to Miami Shores,

A Rotary welcome awaits you,

From DeBary-Deltona-Orange City and more.

So come back to see us,

You're always welcome each time you do.

So come back to see us,

We're always glad to greet you,

DeBary-Deltona-Orange City and you!

"My Country, 'Tis of Thee" (America)

My country, 'tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims' pride,

From every mountainside

Let freedom ring!

"God Bless America"  (by Irving Berlin)

God bless America,

Land that I love

Stand beside her, and guide her

Through the night with a light from above

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans, white with foam

God bless America, My home sweet home

God bless America, My home sweet home.

"The Star-Spangled Banner" (by Francis Scott Key)

O say can you see by the dawn's early light,

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming.

And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,

O say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

The National Anthem
